Responsibilities

Define and champion the long‑term product vision for public sector offerings, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and market opportunities.

Lead compliance management for FedRAMP, NIST, FIPS, and GDPR, translating regulatory requirements into actionable product roadmaps.

Conduct market research and customer discovery with federal agencies and public sector entities to understand unique workflows and pain points.

Develop and maintain a compelling roadmap, prioritizing features to balance innovation with critical security and compliance needs.

Act as a subject‑matter expert and evangelist, aligning and motivating cross‑functional teams (engineering, sales, marketing, customer success).

Collaborate with marketing and sales to execute go‑to‑market strategies that effectively communicate product value to the public sector.

Define and track KPIs, using data analytics to inform product decisions and optimize performance.

Qualifications

10+ years of product management experience, with 5+ years focused on enterprise SaaS for the federal or public sector.

Deep domain expertise in federal and public sector procurement, sales cycles, and operational requirements.

Proven track record navigating complex compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, NIST 800‑series, FIPS 140‑2/140‑3, GDPR).

Strong technical acumen, capable of discussing system architecture, security controls, and technical trade‑offs with engineering teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, influencing executives and cross‑functional teams without direct authority.

Experience in Agile development, creating detailed user stories, managing backlogs, and leading product discovery.

Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills, using data to inform strategy and measure results.

BS in Computer Science or related field; MS or MBA preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with additional compliance frameworks such as CMMC, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.

Experience with public cloud providers (AWS, Azure) and their government‑specific offerings.

Advanced degree or certifications (CISSP, CISM).
