Electrophysiologist position at CHI, the Heart Institute of East Texas.

Position Summary and Responsibilities

Full‑time Electrophysiologist.

Work in 6 cath labs (2 dedicated EP labs) using EnSite X EP System X & Carto 3 V7 and Carto Prime mapping systems.

Perform all EP procedures; conduct LAAO center‑of‑excellence (Watchman/Amulet) and PFA‑approved AFib ablation program with Boston/Abbott.

Call schedule: 1:7 cardiology call with only one major holiday per year.

Job Requirements

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.

Board‑eligible or board‑certified.

Medical license to practice in the state of Texas.

Visa accepted: J1, H1B, or O1.

Where You’ll Work HIET, a CHI St. Luke’s Health‑Memorial practice, includes 13 physicians (7 interventional, 4 invasive/general, 1 EP) and a CV surgeon. The practice serves 12 counties in Deep East Texas (population ~350,000) with 10 clinic locations and privileges at four hospitals. HIET is ACC‑designated as a HeartCARE Center and has received numerous awards, including Texas Forest Country “Small Business of the Year,” TMF Physician Practice Quality Improvement Award, and Gold Level award (2018‑2019). The group is affiliated with Baylor College of Medicine faculty and offers partnership eligibility.

Pay Range $270.55 – $337.76 per hour
