Base Pay Range:

$80,000.00/year – $115,000.00/year

Job Summary:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) aligns business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The HRBP formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the organization’s business objectives.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Recruit, interview, hire, and train new hires.

Manage and oversee daily tasks and workflow.

Deliver constructive feedback and conduct timely performance evaluations.

Administer disciplinary actions and handle terminations in accordance with company policy.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.

Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.

Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies.

Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues; conduct thorough, objective investigations.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day‑to‑day employee management to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.

Provide day‑to‑day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).

Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation.

Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers.

Assist international employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.

Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.

Identify training needs for business units and executive coaching needs.

Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs; follow up to ensure training objectives are met.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.

Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines, including compensation, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal/state employment laws.

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM‑CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM‑SCP) credential, or ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirements / Work Conditions

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
