Position Summary The

Regional Event Marketing Manager

manages a team of

Event Marketing Managers

and

Event Marketers

in the assigned region. This role is accountable for team performance, exceeding revenue targets, managing budgets, and ensuring the successful execution of the Event Marketing Department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop and drive event‑based marketing initiatives to generate sales leads for sales representative follow‑up.

Identify, schedule, and plan event calendars for the team in the assigned region.

Oversee budgeting and staffing for local events.

Attend trade shows, home shows, fairs, festivals, and community events, leading the team to generate new sales leads.

Manage event marketing materials and equipment setup and teardown.

Collaborate with the Leadership Team to grow brand presence within the region.

Recruit, hire, train, and develop District Event Marketing Managers and Event Marketers with clear KPIs.

Develop timelines, organizational plans, and internal communications for cohesion and transparency.

Track and report event metrics to evaluate performance and ROI.

Exceed sales‑lead quotas based on established KPIs.

Perform other duties as assigned by Directors.

Experience and Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

5+ years of experience in multi‑unit management roles in direct‑to‑consumer industries.

Strong recruiting and training skills.

Experience managing large‑scale budgets and planning at a regional level.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self‑starter able to manage and develop others.

Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.

Strong planning and organizational skills with attention to detail.

Knowledge of current best practices and new strategies for event marketing.

Travel within the assigned territory as needed.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and pre‑scheduled events.

Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Access).

Ability to juggle various tasks and shift focus efficiently.

Fast‑paced, high‑energy team orientation.

Active listening and thoughtful response skills.

Detail‑oriented and focused on task completion.

Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications

Experience in lead generation and/or experiential marketing.

Previous management position(s) in direct‑to‑consumer marketing.

Experience in multi‑unit management.

Previous experience in home improvement event marketing.

Travel Requirements

Approximately 50% travel required.

Occasional overnight travel required.
