Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr
We are seeking a
Control Systems Engineer
to join our Houston-based team. This position plays a key role in advancing
Process Automation Solutions
for industries including
Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Utilities, and Renewable Energy . The ideal candidate will oversee the
installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting
of automation and control systems at locations across the globe.
As part of our engineering group, you will work on high-impact projects involving
Integrated Control Systems, SCADA Virtualization, Wellhead Automation, and Industrial Telecommunication Networks —driving innovation and efficiency in complex operations.

You will be part of a team dedicated to designing and delivering
vendor-neutral automation and control systems
that help clients optimize operations, ensure safety, and boost performance. Our solutions span from
virtualized SCADA systems for remote and satellite facilities
to
advanced wellhead and pipeline automation technologies
that enhance reliability and digital integration.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise
installation, commissioning, and start-up
activities for control and automation systems.
Conduct
site surveys, risk assessments, and evaluations
based on project scope and client requirements.
Integrate and configure
hardware and software solutions in collaboration with project teams.
Diagnose and resolve
control system issues both on-site and remotely.
Carry out
maintenance, testing, and upgrades
to ensure operational integrity.
Lead or support
system start-up
in both workshop and field environments.
Develop and test
PLC/SCADA programs , and support
FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing)
and
commissioning
processes.
Provide
technical guidance and support
to customers and internal stakeholders.
Implement
hardware and control architecture
for systems such as
DCS, SIS, and FGS .
Work with
wellhead automation systems, control panels, skid-mounted equipment, and solar-powered systems .
Interpret and apply
industrial standards and customer specifications , including
P&IDs, Control & Electrical diagrams, and design narratives .
Experience:
2 - 8 years of relevant field experience in control systems engineering & automation projects
Exposure to major industrial instrumentation and standards.
Hands-on knowledge of troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering
Proven Rockwell experience with commissioning exposure
Troubleshooting & resolving control system issues (on-site & remote)
Wellhead facilities, control panels, skids & solar systems familiarity
Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation, P&IDs, C&Es & customer specifications
