Full-time, on-site
CPI is seeking a
Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) Engineer
to support the planning, setup, execution, and documentation of system-level integration and test for
Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions . The selected engineer will develop automated test assets, coordinate formal test events, and collaborate across engineering and manufacturing to deliver verified, production-ready systems.
Responsibilities
Participate in
requirements analysis ,
functional/performance analysis , test approach definition, and verification planning.
Develop
test cases, procedures, and scripts
(Python, Bash, C) and associated
test plans/reports
for formal V&V.
Design/maintain test
setups, fixtures, and environments ; support lab bring-up, configuration control, and readiness.
Stand up and maintain test infrastructure using
Git/GitLab
and standard CI practices where applicable.
Identify and manage
BOMs
for test assets; coordinate with materials planning and operations for build/checkout.
Execute and support formal events including
DVT, QT, AT, EMI/EMC, radiation , and related compliance testing.
Capture results, defects, and evidence; provide
status inputs
to SEIT backlogs and program reviews.
Collaborate across
systems, software, hardware, and manufacturing ; interface with SEIT lead and project leadership on scope, risks, and issues.
Contribute to
process improvement
for integration, verification, and test automation.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
in Engineering, or a related Science or Mathematics field.
5+ years
of relevant experience; or
Master’s degree + 3 years
of relevant experience.
Proficient with
object-oriented programming, system processes, and scripting
(Python, Bash, C).
Experience authoring
test documentation
(plans, procedures, reports) and executing formal verification.
Hands-on lab experience setting up test
equipment, fixtures, and environments .
Ability to obtain and maintain a
Department of Defense Secret
security clearance.
U.S. Citizenship
required.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in
Crypto and/or Cross Domain Solutions
or adjacent secure communications systems.
Experience across the
systems development lifecycle : requirements, design, integration, verification, and sell-off.
Familiarity with
Agile
development practices and
configuration management
(Git/GitLab).
Demonstrated ability to
propose and implement
productivity/efficiency improvements in test flows.
Strong communication; thrives in
collaborative, cross-functional
teams; able to
mentor
peers as needed.
Ability to
learn quickly , manage increasing scope/complexity, and drive issues to closure.
