Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP)
This position is eligible for
Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) , a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
Duties The Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) works within the Mental Health Nursing Service Line and provides a full range of services emphasizing quality, timeliness, and the advancement of the Veterans Affairs mission. He/She practices to the full extent of their education, training, and certification using the core functions outlined in the clinical privileges corresponding with this position. The PMHNP has prescriptive authority, if required, as indicated by their position.
