Statewide travel required, including to our central office in Pasadena, CA, for meetings. Per diem provided. The position is hybrid, with on‑site and remote duties. Sign‑on bonuses are available for select positions.
About the Role We are seeking a dedicated SPED Specialist / Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with special‑needs students in educational programs. In this role, you will assess and treat students’ sensory‑motor dysfunction, motor skills, self‑care, and daily living activities. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide treatment, program consultation, and environmental modifications. This role involves travel to school sites and providing support on proprietary company platforms such as VillageED and iTAAP.

What You’ll Do
Assess students within their education settings using an ecological model
Provide treatment, program consultation, and environmental modifications to improve student function
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including teachers, physical therapists, and speech pathologists
Maintain knowledge of California laws and policies governing special education and occupational therapy services
Monitor therapy programs and consult with staff on treatment strategies
Provide interpretation of assessment reports to families and recommend activities to support motor goals at home
Maintain timely and accurate student records
Travel to school sites across California and occasionally to Pasadena, CA, for corporate meetings
Provide client support on VillageED and iTAAP platforms
What You Bring
State Board Certified Occupational Therapist license
Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Strong communication, organizational, and time‑management skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar software
