Eyes On Eyecare is currently seeking a full‑time, board‑certified optometrist to join our rapidly growing, community‑focused private practice. The position is located in Tucson, AR and offers an engaging opportunity to build lasting patient relationships while working alongside experienced professionals.
About the Practice We operate a network of wholly‑owned optical retail shops that provide full‑scope optometry and a well‑run dispensary. Our mission is to improve the health of our community by helping neighbors see better and look their best, one patient at a time. We are assembling an all‑star team of experts dedicated to delivering outstanding patient care, a supportive work environment, and a collaborative culture.
Role Overview As an optometrist, you will conduct eye exams, provide comprehensive eye care, and support the practice’s growth by establishing patient relationships and educating patients on eye health. You will work closely with opticians, sales staff, and other team members to deliver the best possible service.
Responsibilities
Establish long‑term patient relationships through quality care and patient education.
Conduct verbal interviews to gather health and ocular history and clarify patient visual needs.
Perform vision tests, analyze results, and recommend appropriate corrective solutions.
Prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and medications.
Recommend or provide treatments such as vision therapy or low‑vision rehabilitation (brand specific).
Provide pre‑ and post‑operative care for patients undergoing eye surgery.
Collaborate with opticians and sales staff to recommend the best lens options.
Compensation & Benefits Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience. The full benefits package includes:

Schedule: Full‑time. Salary range: Based on experience.
Requirements
Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree.
Valid Oklahoma state license to practice optometry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
