Job Overview – Private Equity Associate: Compensation: $130,000 – $150,000/year + bonus

Location: Montgomery County, PA

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid)

Atlantic Group is hiring a Private Equity Associate in Montgomery County, PA (Hybrid) for our client’s growing investment team. In this role, you will support all stages of the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, underwriting, execution, and portfolio management. You’ll evaluate opportunities, build financial models, and partner with C-suite executives at portfolio companies. This is an outstanding opportunity for a driven professional with private equity or investment banking experience to join a dynamic, growth-focused platform.

Responsibilities as the Private Equity Associate:

Transaction Execution:

Support deal sourcing, due diligence, valuation, and transaction structuring across diverse industries.

Financial Modeling:

Build and maintain detailed models to evaluate investments and forecast company performance.

Investment Analysis:

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess business potential and growth opportunities.

Portfolio Management:

Collaborate with portfolio company leaders to monitor performance and drive strategic initiatives.

Investor Reporting:

Prepare investment memos, valuation analyses, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications for the Private Equity Associate:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field required.

Experience:

3+ years in private equity, growth equity, or investment banking with proven experience in deal execution and financial modeling.

Technical Skills:

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.

Industry Knowledge:

Understanding of private equity deal structures, portfolio management, and valuation methodologies across sectors.

Skills & Attributes:

Analytical, detail-oriented professional with strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach to growth investing.
