This Opportunity
Develop electrical design solutions for industrial and municipal projects, especially water and wastewater facilities.
Produce and manage construction documents, including drawings and specifications for lighting, power distribution & control systems.
Coordinate with other disciplines, project managers and clients to meet expectations.
Provide construction administration: respond to RFIs, change orders, inspections and punch lists.
Supervise and mentor other electrical engineers and designers.
Lead and manage projects for the electrical group, including marketing, cross‑functional coordination, client engagement and communication.
Open to candidates residing in Madison WI, Milwaukee WI, Chippewa Falls WI, Charlottesville VA, Des Moines IA, Duluth MN, St. Paul MN, Remote‑Wisconsin or Remote‑Minnesota.
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college.
Licensed Electrical Engineer with ability to be licensed in multiple states.
Experience in commercial/industrial system design; water & wastewater facilities a plus.
Electrical discipline lead on project, responsible for project manager or client.
Project management experience or interest in becoming a project manager.
Strong understanding of design codes, standards & specifications.
Willingness to travel for team meetings, client consultations, field surveys, construction observation.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of experience.
Proficient in applicable electrical codes, interior & exterior lighting design, voltage drop calculations, power distribution design, one‑line diagrams, schematics, backup power & control systems.
Strong verbal & written communication skills.
Experience in field investigations, condition assessments, report writing and client interface.
SKM proficiency in short‑circuit, load flow, fault analysis & arc flash. Experience with water & wastewater facility design.
Revit and/or AutoCAD experience.
Base Compensation Base compensation is expected to be in the range of $115,000 to $140,000 based on skill set and experience. A full benefits package is provided.
