Senior Structural Engineer
– Dallas, TX
Company Conrad Consulting – a respected structural engineering consultancy with a national project portfolio.
Base Pay Range $90,000.00/yr – $115,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Perform structural design and analysis for building projects using modern codes and standards.
Prepare detailed drawings, technical reports, and specifications in coordination with architectural and engineering teams.
Conduct
seismic and lateral load analysis
for new and existing structures.
Support the development and review of structural plans and construction documents.
Work collaboratively with internal staff, consultants, and clients to ensure design excellence and project success.
Mentor junior engineers and assist in quality control and project delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in
Civil or Structural Engineering
(Master’s preferred).
EIT certification required; PE license preferred
or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
Minimum
2 years of progressive experience
in structural engineering, including seismic design and structural detailing.
Proficient with
Revit, AutoCAD , and analysis software such as
RISA, RAM, ETABS, SAP, or Enercalc .
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively in a team setting.
Experience working on multiple concurrent projects and managing deadlines efficiently.
