Liberty Mutual Insurance . The role is hybrid, located in Plano, TX, requiring 2 days in the office a week. You will need to reside within a 50‑mile radius of Plano and have experience with React and AWS.
Pay Base pay range: $104,000.00 /yr – $180,000.00 /yr. The actual salary is based on skills and experience and may include additional compensation such as commissions or bonuses in accordance with company plans.

As a full‑stack engineer you will develop and enhance complex systems and/or software from user stories, technical/specifications and work on both front‑end (React, TypeScript, JavaScript) and back‑end (Node.js, AWS services, CDN integration) technologies. You will collaborate with a geographically diverse agile team to deliver feature‑driven, customer‑centric solutions with a focus on quality, speed and continuous improvement.
In This Role You Will
Work in an agile environment to develop creative solutions for our claims product.
Accelerate speed to market by addressing current product needs and developing long‑term strategic solutions using technologies such as React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and other potential backend languages.
Utilize cloud services and tools, including AWS, Cloud Foundry, and CDN solutions like Akamai.
Build and implement RESTful services and automated tests across multiple scopes (unit, system, integration, regression).
Demonstrate proficiency in multiple object‑oriented and functional programming languages.
Conduct end‑to‑end development, including coding, testing, debugging and deployment activities.
Mentor new and junior developers to build technical expertise across the team.
Identify and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement and enhanced system performance.
Qualifications
A minimum of five years of software engineering experience.
Strong background in business operations and strategies, focusing on business IT.
Proven track record translating client requirements into technical designs.
Agile engineering capabilities and a design‑thinking mindset.
Collaboration, adaptability and flexibility when working with a globally distributed team.
Strong oral and written communication skills, able to explain complex decisions to non‑engineers.
In-depth knowledge of IT concepts, system architecture and shared software principles.
Proficiency in software engineering languages and frameworks, especially Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, and RESTful services.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience.
