Overview TransUnion Interactive Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of TransUnion LLC, seeks Senior Developers, Data Science and Analytics for the Chicago, IL location. This role involves implementing and maintaining full-stack Ab Initio system infrastructure and data warehouse environments. You will develop and design ETL solutions with Ab Initio and translate business concepts to technical implementations to drive alignment and decision making.

Responsibilities include developing, testing, deploying, and documenting software; proactively monitoring Ab Initio data warehouse environment processes; performing data analysis and validation, and communicating results to business and technical stakeholders; and solving complex data problems as needed.

Technical Environment: SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, DBVisualizer, HTML tables, Grafana, Lucid Charts.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, deploy, and document software.

Proactively monitor Ab Initio data warehouse environment processes.

Perform data analysis and validation, communicating results to business and technical stakeholders.

Solve complex data problems as needed.

Translate business concepts to technical implementations to drive alignment and decision making.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field, or any related field required.

Required skills: SQL, R, Python, Tableau, Power BI, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, DBVisualizer, HTML tables, Grafana, Lucid Charts. Some telecommuting permitted.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field, plus 3 years of experience with data analytics also acceptable.

The U.S. base salary range for this position is $113,235 per year. Regular, full-time non-sales positions may be eligible to participate in TransUnion’s annual bonus plan. Some positions may also be eligible for long-term incentives and other payments as per company guidance and plan documents.
