SAP SD Consultant Position – Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
Job Title: SAP SD Consultant
Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months
Seeking a skilled SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) consultant to support our ongoing SAP initiatives including enhancements, production support, and integration with APO and Fiori in an ECC 6.0 environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional and integration background, excellent business acumen, and experience with complex supply chain scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
Work with business users to gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and propose SAP SD solutions.
Configure and maintain SAP SD module within ECC 6.0: sales orders, deliveries, billing, pricing, credit management, and outputs.
Support and enhance Fiori applications relevant to SD processes (e.g., Manage Sales Orders, Track Sales Orders).
Integrate SD processes with APO (ATP, Demand Planning, GATP if applicable).
Participate in full lifecycle implementation and enhancement projects.
Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes.
Create functional specs and coordinate with ABAP developers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (MM, FI, PP, APO, BASIS, etc.).
Provide user training and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 7+ years of hands‑on SAP SD experience.
Strong experience with SAP ECC 6.0 especially SD core modules.
At least 1 full lifecycle implementation or major enhancement project.
Hands‑on configuration of sales processes, pricing, outputs, and billing.
Experience working with Fiori apps related to SD processes.
Integration knowledge between SD and APO (ATP, demand check, scheduling).
Familiarity with IDocs, ALE, and EDI processes.
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Experience working with cross‑functional teams and business stakeholders.
Nice to Have
Experience in the building materials or manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of SAP TM (Transportation Management) or GTS.
Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a plus (for future roadmap).
