Women Who Influence is a leading non‑profit organization dedicated to empowering women entrepreneurs, particularly women of color, whose contributions significantly impact the economic landscape. Our mission is to provide these trailblazers with the tools, resources, and support necessary to succeed in business. Through mentorship, education, and collaboration, we create an environment where aspirations turn into action and dreams become reality. Content Creation Intern – Overview The intern will focus on creating engaging multimedia content that highlights the founders, speakers, and partners of Women Who Influence. This includes researching individuals and companies, producing video recordings, editing content, and developing materials that support the organization’s mission of empowering women entrepreneurs.
The role is hybrid (Dallas, TX) with some work‑from‑home flexibility. Duration: 6 months. Hours: 15 per week. Compensation: Non‑paid / College credit available. Requirement: Must have a personal camera.
Key Responsibilities
Research and create content about founders, speakers, and partner companies, particularly those focused on women, entrepreneurship, and economic development.
Film and record interviews, panels, and other multimedia content.
Edit video and multimedia content for social media, digital campaigns, and event promotion.
Develop creative content ideas that showcase Women Who Influence’s mission and programs.
Support digital marketing initiatives with content that amplifies the voices of women entrepreneurs.
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain consistent branding and messaging.
Qualifications
Strong content creation skills (video recording, editing, photography, graphic design).
Social media and digital marketing experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to research, synthesize, and produce compelling content about people and organizations.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
Familiarity with social media platforms and tools (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Canva, Adobe Premiere, etc.).
Experience with non‑profit or entrepreneurial organizations is a plus.
Passion for women‑focused companies, economic empowerment, and entrepreneurship.
