We are looking for a
Roadway Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities
Support the completion of roadway design tasks through collaboration with project teams and mentorship from senior engineers.
Work closely with Project Managers to ensure designs meet schedule and budget expectations.
Gain valuable experience with the opportunity to grow into a Project Manager role through mentorship and increasing responsibility.
Prepare timely and accurate design drawings, details, presentations, and construction documents in accordance with applicable standards.
Assist in the preparation of permit applications and submittal packages for review by regulatory agencies.
Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, right‑of‑way staff, utility providers, project stakeholders, and contractors under the direction of senior staff.
Support the development and tracking of project scopes, schedules, and budgets to ensure project objectives are met.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
A minimum of 4 years of experience in all technical aspects of roadway design.
Experience working with INDOT is a plus.
Experience with OpenRoads Designer preferred.
PE certification is preferred.
Detail‑oriented individual with strong technical and organizational skills.
Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and standard industry software.
Works well in multidisciplinary team environments and can meet deadlines.
Strong oral presentation and written communication skills.
A self‑starter who can take initiative with key stakeholders.
