entering an exciting phase of expansion. The company is building a new generation of
connected healthcare technologies , integrating
embedded software, mobile applications, and secure cloud infrastructure
to improve how clinicians and patients interact with medical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end
software architecture and development
of a connected medical device ecosystem spanning embedded, mobile, and web platforms.
Define
scalable, modular architectures
ensuring seamless integration between firmware, mobile apps, and backend systems.
Manage
IEC 62304-compliant
software lifecycle activities, including risk management, documentation, verification, and validation.
Partner cross-functionally with
hardware, systems, and quality teams
to ensure robust interoperability and overall system performance.
Oversee the design and delivery of
user-facing applications
that enhance clinical workflows and patient engagement.
Champion modern software development practices ( Agile, CI/CD, TDD ) while mentoring engineers and maintaining high technical standards.
Ensure adherence to
cybersecurity, usability (IEC 62366-1), and data protection
standards for regulated environments.
What We’re Looking For
7+ years of experience developing software for
medical devices or regulated life sciences products .
3+ years in a
lead or principal software role
with architectural or system-level ownership.
Background in
wireless connectivity
(Bluetooth, Wi‑Fi) and connected device ecosystems.
Familiarity with
risk management
and
IEC 62304
software development processes.
Excellent communication and
cross-functional leadership
skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in
Software, Computer, or Electrical Engineering .
Compensation $150-190k base salary + bonus + stock options + full benefits
