Job Purpose The purpose of this role is to monitor and inspect circuit board assemblies using Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) and/or X‑ray (5DX) equipment to ensure product quality and reliability.
Nature of Duties / Responsibilities
Monitoring SMT products at defined stations using AOI or 5DX equipment.
Identifying components, including part numbers, values, package size/shape, placement, and solderability.
Reporting findings to appropriate personnel and recording them on applicable documentation.
Performing other responsibilities as needed.
Education & Experience
2-4 years of experience as an AOI Inspector.
Experience utilizing AOI and/or 5DX equipment.
Working knowledge of the IPC workmanship guidelines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
Physical ability to do a lot of standing and walking and lift up to 35 pounds.
Manual dexterity and hand‑eye coordination.
Availability for overtime as needed.
Strong attention to detail.
Certified solder or experience in electronics or contract manufacturing.
Experience in electronics or contract manufacturing and knowledge of IPC workmanship guidelines preferred.

Salary Range (Annual) $43,680 - $49,920 ($21 - $24 / hour)

Depending on the role, the package may also include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
