Job Description Location: Houston, Texas (Hybrid – at least 3 days onsite/week)

We are seeking a
Senior Project Manager
to lead critical IT projects within the Gas & Power Trading domain, with a primary focus on the
Asset Dispatch Management Solution (DGM Project) . This role involves managing complex, business-oriented IT initiatives that support the transition to power trading and physical asset operations. The position reports to the Manager, Gas & Power Trading IT and collaborates closely with global teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the
DGM Asset Dispatch project , ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Plan and manage projects from initiation to completion using phased methodologies or manage a portfolio of smaller projects.
Report on project scope, schedule, and budget; maintain risk, issue, and decision logs.
Coordinate across IT, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors; ensure supplier contracts are executed properly.
Assess risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID) across the project portfolio.
Apply company standards for project methodologies, IT governance, and compliance (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley).
Promote a project-driven culture and coach team members on project management best practices.
Support administrative tasks related to vendor applications and contribute to PMO reporting (KPIs, tickets, etc.).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
7–10+ years of experience in project management, with proven success in large, complex IT projects.
Energy sector experience mandatory; direct experience with dispatch systems or telemetry solutions highly preferred.
Technical Understanding: Familiarity with asset connection, scheduling, integration milestones; knowledge of physical power generation operations.
Experience with DGM or similar platforms (e.g., GE Dispatch, Skanska Dispatch).
Soft Skills: Proactive, independent, strong ownership mindset; able to work in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
Certifications: PMP, Agile, or equivalent preferred.
Language: Fluent in English; French is a plus.
