Onsite Population Health Decision Support Analyst Must be located in Ohio, or be willing to relocate.

Overview

Preferred fields of study: Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Administration, Health Information Management, Health Informatics.

Analytical skills to assemble & evaluate large complex population health datasets.

Experience with data‑management systems, extensive spreadsheet, databases, & graphic presentation skills.

Excellent communication & organizational skills to interact with staff at all levels; position is split between business and community wellness teams.

Familiar with research & evaluation processes; able to perform data linking, merging, cleaning, & formatting for quality improvement studies.

Familiar with hospital coding systems (ICD, CPT, DRG) and medical terminology desired.

Familiar with relational database management & reporting software desired (Business Objects, Crystal Reports, SQL programming, Excel, PowerBI).

Job Description Summary Analyzes data to identify patterns and trends, interprets results, and provides insights to support business decisions.

Essential Functions

Analyzes large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

Develops and maintains databases and data systems to ensure accuracy and integrity.

Collaborates with cross‑functional teams to identify business needs and provide data‑driven solutions.

Creates reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Cleans and pre‑processes data to ensure it is ready for analysis.

Stays up to date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve data analysis processes.

Education Requirement

Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Health Informatics, or related field, required.

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field, preferred.

Experience

Two years of experience in healthcare data analysis or equivalent, required.

One year of experience in SQL and other programming languages, required.
