Job Location City: Sunnyvale, CA Position Type: Regular Property: SFO 558 Solstice
What You Will Do Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances. Repair and maintain interior and exterior features of the property, such as doors, windows, walls, flooring, and fixtures. Prepare vacant units for new residents, ensuring cleanliness and functionality before move‑in. Conduct regular inspections of common areas, equipment, and building systems. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and be available for on‑call duty as required. Ensure work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and report hazards to management. Maintain an adequate supply of tools, equipment, and materials and organize the maintenance shop. Complete work orders and documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need High school diploma or GED equivalent; 2+ years of property‑management or related experience. HVAC and/or CPO license preferred. Proficient knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair. Understanding of environmental/industrial hazards (e.g., asbestos, lead, mold, radon). Proficient use of a personal smart device and property‑management software. Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
What The Job Requires Fast‑paced work setting; ability to multitask and adapt. Effective communication with clients and colleagues. Availability five days a week; on‑call responsiveness. Physical capacity for heavy lifting (>50 lb) and other strenuous tasks. Occasional travel to various locations.
What You Will Bring To The Table Basic technical and factual communication with managers. Routine problem solving following clear directions. Limited decision‑making scope at own job level.
