The pay rate is $60,000.00 annually for an Assistant Dining Director. Actual salary may fall outside of the posted salary range as it is dependent on skills and experience.

About the Role The Assistant Director of Dining/CDM is responsible for the overall effective dietary services; selecting, training, and supervising all dietary services personnel; procuring supplies and equipment; assisting with budget preparation and operating within budgetary guidelines.

Organizes, directs, and supervises all dietary service functions in consultation with the Dining Director.

Maintains established dietary standards and policies in consultation with the Registered Dietitian.

Always exemplify Community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.

Responsible for adhering to food quality, appearance, and presentation standards always.

Qualifications

Certified Dietary Manager (CDM)

High School graduate required with certification as required by state regulation. College degree preferred.

A minimum of three years experience in the administration of food services systems.

Ability to communicate with, understand, empathize with, and be tolerant of residents, patients, visitors, families, peers, subordinates, supervisor and outside contacts.
