We are seeking a

Manufacturing Engineer II

that is an energetic and driven individual with basic skill sets and knowledge that they can apply to maintaining, developing, and operating manufacturing systems. Qualified candidates must be able to work an on‑site schedule at our

Chesterfield, MO

facility.

Role Responsibilities

Using lean manufacturing tools, recommend changes in current production methods, standards, tooling, procedures, equipment, plant layout, product design, and employee output as a basis for increasing production, reducing cost, improving safety, morale and quality.

Work on all phases of engineering projects.

Review and verify accuracy of existing procedures, bills of material, and route sheets. Initiate engineering change orders per the engineering change order procedure.

Manage daily line issues as it relates to equipment and production.

Validate manufacturability (DFM) of production items per the product development process.

Coordinate manufacturing activities to meet demanding program schedules.

Serve as technical liaison between production, supply chain, and engineering teams.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

1+ year of manufacturing or aerospace experience.

Working experience with Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve manufacturing processes.

Experience with Oracle (or other ERP system) and/or Oracle Business Intelligence.

Demonstrated customer focus and strong communication skills across different organizations and cross‑functional teams.

Experience planning and managing timelines.

Ability to effectively analyze design/process failure modes, and drive improvement initiatives for stronger design and process.

Comfortable with making decisions and dealing with ambiguity.

Knowledge of 3D modeling software, SolidWorks preferred.
