Overview We are seeking a dynamic Controller to play a pivotal role in our rapidly growing beverage alcohol and consumer lifestyle company. Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and monthly financial close.

Ensure the preparation of accurate financial statements in compliance with U.S. GAAP.

Support SEC reporting requirements and assist in drafting S-1 and future 10-Q/10-K filings.

Drive IPO readiness initiatives, including SOX-lite documentation and internal controls enhancement.

Manage relationships with external auditors and oversee annual audits and quarterly reviews.

Implement and maintain robust internal controls to support a public company environment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting policies, technical accounting issues, and reporting.

Qualifications Must-Have:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firm preferred).

Proven experience with SEC reporting and IPO readiness, including S-1 and SOX compliance.

Strong technical accounting knowledge, including U.S. GAAP, ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805, and ASC 718.

Demonstrated ability to build scalable processes and controls in a growth-stage environment.

Excellent communication and project management skills, with a track record of effective collaboration with senior leadership.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience in consumer products or CPG sectors.

Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or NetSuite.

Knowledge of acquisition integration and revenue recognition principles.
