This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which includes Integrated Supply Chain, Test Operations, Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance. It supports manufacturing and supply chain functions across all Blue Origin facilities and is located at our Orbital Launch Site.
As part of a unique and highly skilled team, you’ll perform a wide variety of administrative functions, supporting engineers, technicians, and other professionals at our Launch Site. The position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. You will directly impact the history of space exploration and contribute to safe and repeatable spaceflight.
Responsibilities
Manage visitor reception and verify all visitors while adhering to company and safety protocols.
Greet and manage customers, visitors, and contractors.
Receive and direct internal calls/messages to appropriate personnel.
Enforce security procedures for guests, suppliers, and contractors.
Verify and manage Non-Disclosure Agreements and Export Control compliance.
Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and reception desk area.
Assist with scheduling and preparing meeting and conference rooms.
Provide support to the administrative team and other duties as missions require.
Perform general clerical duties subject to daily change.
Provide office supplies for campus centers.
Assist with catering preparation and delivery.
Assist with badging responsibilities.
Receive invoices and scan to appropriate email.
Lifting materials up to 20 pounds as required.
Provide continuous support for company events.
Coordinate/assist with new hire onboarding.
Understand and adhere to Administrative Operation Directives.
Qualifications
Prior administrative, reception, or customer service experience.
Intermediate Microsoft Office experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Teams.
Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others.
Ability to work a minimum 40‑hour week; overtime may be needed.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to adapt to change.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong time management skills.
Positive team contributor.
Adherence to Blue Origin policies and procedures.
2+ years’ experience in the hospitality industry.
Desired
Experience with Traction Guest, OnBase, Maximo, ITS, Gensuite.
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
2‑4 years’ administrative/receptionist experience.
Compensation Range For WA Applicants $26.86‑$37.61 per hour.
