This position is for a School Psychologist to support an early childhood educational setting in Sacramento, CA. The role is a contract assignment with a focus on providing psychological services primarily during the second semester, beginning in December, covering the current school year.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs. Develop and implement intervention strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs). Collaborate with educators, families, and administrators to support student success and well‑being. Provide counseling and support services to address social‑emotional challenges. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with legal and ethical guidelines. Qualifications
Valid credential/licensure as a School Psychologist. Experience working in early childhood or elementary school settings preferred. Strong understanding of child development, assessment tools, and intervention techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage caseload efficiently.
