We are seeking a skilled
Civil Engineer – Land Development
to join our team. This role involves designing and managing infrastructure for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for site planning, grading, stormwater management, utility layout, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. This position requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
Site Analysis: Conduct field surveys, review soil reports, and assess topography to determine project feasibility.
Design Development: Create detailed site plans, including grading, drainage, roadways, sidewalks, utilities, and stormwater systems.
Permitting: Prepare necessary documents, navigate permitting processes, and coordinate with local regulatory agencies.
Construction Support: Review construction drawings, provide technical guidance to contractors, and manage site inspections.
Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation while coordinating with architects, surveyors, and geotechnical engineers.
Software Utilization: Utilize
AutoCAD Civil 3D
and other design software to develop accurate site models and drawings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Strong understanding of grading, drainage, hydrology, and hydraulics.
Experience with land development projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
Proficiency in
AutoCAD Civil 3D
and other relevant engineering software.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, contractors, and project teams.
Base Pay Range $75,000.00 /yr - $125,000.00 /yr
