Production Manager - Gypsum Join Georgia Pacific’s Building Products Division as a Production Manager to support our Gypsum Wallboard operation located in Lovell, WY. You will report to the Plant Manager and oversee salaried direct reports, ensuring the performance of the Product System—people, process, and equipment—delivers cost competitiveness, asset performance, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Do

Model the behaviors and actions that advance our Principle Based Management (PBM®) culture and the organizational vision.

Lead the performance and development of people, managing individual performance and holding individuals accountable.

Act as a positive change agent for continuous capability development and improvement within the PBM® culture.

Create an environment where the team achieves zero significant events in Environmental, Health, and Safety.

Ensure asset performance meets facility goals and increases efficiencies.

Motivate and inspire direct reports to achieve results in alignment with the mill's vision and goals.

Collaborate on new initiatives around technology and automation.

Identify and present improvement opportunities for capital projects.

Plan and execute outage work in the production department.

Troubleshoot process issues.

Manage raw materials and operating supplies efficiently.

Hold the team and individuals accountable for operation and reliability strategies.

Ensure adequate scheduling of staff.

Be willing to be on call and assist the plant during off-shift as needed.

Qualifications

Five (5) years or more of managerial leadership experience in process manufacturing, military, or an industrial environment.

Experience coaching, mentoring, and developing salaried employees.

Experience managing the performance of salaried leaders.

Experience partnering with maintenance to meet reliability goals.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Gypsum industry.

Experience helping drive transformation in an organization.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
