Position: Signal Integrity Engineer Location: Nashua, NH or Valley Green, PA. Wage: Depends on experience.
Responsibilities
Contribute to teams responsible for customer system development and support from concept to production.
Develop integration and test strategies in support of new product introduction.
Assist with providing solutions to customers across a wide range of sectors with high‑speed data transmission requirements.
Design and evaluate next‑generation production test platforms.
Support production to ensure high‑level test and measurement excellence.
Support internal sales engineers in developing strategies for product break‑in at existing and new accounts based on signal‑integrity and electrical‑engineering expertise.
Design, simulate, characterize, and apply high‑speed electrical connectors and cable‑based interconnect.
Share knowledge and pursue continuous improvement in methods and workflows.
Design, build, and measure circuit boards for measurement and verification of products.
Apply circuit theory and high‑speed digital transmission, PCB layout principles for high‑speed digital design.
Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering; MS/PhD is preferred.
At least 3 years of industry experience with an understanding of electro‑magnetic principles for digital signal integrity.
Experience in component design and application of high‑speed connectors into communications equipment is a plus.
Experience with signal‑integrity measurements and debugging with TDR, VNA, pattern generators, error detectors, and similar measurement equipment.
Proficiency with simulation/analysis tools such as Ansys HFSS and Designer, CST Microwave, HSPICE, Matlab, and ADS.
Hands‑on experience with frequency‑domain and time‑domain component and circuit characterization, including understanding of test and calibration methods.
