Manufacturing Operations Manager
DSV - Global Transport and Logistics Summary Responsible for planning, organizing, budgeting, and implementing all operations and logistical activities. Ensures that all operations and logistics functions are performed in a timely, cost‑effective manner consistent with established corporate and client operations, procedures, and requirements. Duties And Responsibilities
Plan, manage and control all aspects of the operation and provide the highest level of service at the lowest cost Coordinate, manage and monitor the work at the site Liaison person to the General Manager, implement and manage operational plans Prepare and control operational budgets and control inventory Plan effective strategies for the financial well‑being of the site Be proactive in the recruitment and training process, establish organizational structures, establish work schedules, supervise staff, evaluate and monitor performance of staff to ensure required levels of productivity and organizational objectives are met Maintain and implement plans to establish productivity, safety standards, quality, cost control, and employee morale Reviews, analyzes, modifies, and implements efficient and effective department processes, policies, and procedures Ensure a safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures Educational Background / Work Experience
A bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is typically required for this position. Candidates should have at least five years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least two years of experience in a supervisory role. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards. Proficiency in logistics software systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar. Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field. Professional certifications, such as Certified Logistics Professional (CLP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). Experience in the transportation or logistics industry. Language Skills
Fluent in English (oral and written) Computer Literacy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as logistics software systems, such as SAP, Oracle, or similar. At Will Employment
