A Snapshot of Your Day The Supplier Quality Engineer(Fluid Systems) is responsible for securing the best performing supply base inquality, reliability, and safety. The selected candidate will have experienceworking with and developing domestic and international suppliers supportingramp up and serial production. You will be directly supporting the Gas ServicesCentral Global Customer Operations business by monitoring and continuouslyimproving liquid and gas supply system suppliers! Responsibilities
Supplier Monitoring: Perform supplier oversightand product inspections for regular project execution to ensure compliancewith specification. Inspection types include visual, dimensional, weld,coating, pressure, traceability, quality records. Supplier Audit Program: Perform routine auditsaccording to supplier risk categorization and audit program. Audits areaccording to ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001. Nonconformance Management: Identify andinitiate containment on any identified non-conformances. Follow-up withcorrective action as necessary. Supplier Development: Support supplierevaluation based on regular analysis of supplier quality. Initiate andimplement supplier quality improvement programs, quality root causeanalysis and definition of appropriate risk mitigation measures at thesupplier. Controlling and Reporting: Generate periodicalquality performance reports and ensure appropriate improvement actions areinitiated. Manage various Supplier Quality Management tools and databases.Ensure data quality and transparency. Typical equipment of suppliers in scopeincludes valves & actuators, fluid system skids / packages, pumps& motors, compressors, filters, flow meters. What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical,electrical, industrial engineering, or a similar field; An equivalentcombination of education, training, and experience will be considered. 8+ years preferred professional experience insupplier quality management, quality management, or engineering in thePower Generation, Oil & Gas, or Process Industry; Candidates with moreexperience may be eligible for a more senior level position. Extensive knowledge in welding, coating,material cleaning & preservation, and inspection; Familiarity withASME (II, V, VIII, IX, B31.X, B16.34), ANSI FCI 70-2, AWS (D1.1, D1.6), orEN / ISO equivalent code requirements is required. CWI and/or CSWIP 3.1 and/or IWE certificationpreferred; NACE (AMPP and/or FROSIO) certification preferred. Extensive knowledge and experience in auditing.ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001; Lead Auditor certification preferred. Willingness to travel domestically andinternationally up to 35% of the time. Must have or be able to obtain apassport. Applicants must be legallyauthorized for employment in the United States without need for current orfuture employer-sponsored work authorization.
