Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Data & Analytics team. This role is ideal for a candidate with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure Data Fabric and Microsoft Fabric, capable of designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end BI solutions that drive strategic decision-making. You will leverage Fabric’s unified analytics platform—particularly its Data Factory component—to build scalable data pipelines, implement robust BI solutions, develop insightful Power BI reports, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver actionable business intelligence. Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric’s Data Factory to ingest, prepare, and transform data from diverse sources
Create and manage analytical assets such as lakehouses and data warehouses within the Fabric environment
Design and implement scalable data models (e.g., star schema) to support self-service analytics and reporting
Develop and publish interactive, insightful Power BI dashboards and reports
Use DAX and Power Query (M language) for complex calculations and data transformations
Implement and enforce data governance policies, including row‑level security (RLS), to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security
Monitor and troubleshoot data issues related to pipelines, reports, and data sources within the Fabric ecosystem
Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
Serve as a subject matter expert on the Microsoft Fabric platform, guiding stakeholders on data‑driven decision‑making
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
5+ years of hands‑on experience as a BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or Data Engineer working with Microsoft technologies
3–5 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Data Engineering roles
Proven expertise with Microsoft Fabric, including Data Factory, Power BI, and Synapse experiences
Strong proficiency in building data pipelines with Fabric Data Factory and advanced Power BI skills for report development, data modeling, DAX, and Power Query
Solid command of DAX, KQL, Python, and SQL
Excellent analytical thinking and communication skills
Relevant Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate – DP‑203)
Preferred Certifications (a plus but not required)
Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate (DP‑600)
Designing & Implementing a Data Science Solution on Azure (DP‑100)
Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ‑305)
Azure AI Engineer Associate (AI‑102)
