SSA Group is hiring a Kitchen Manager to oversee operations at Meadows Golf Club. This full‑time, benefits‑eligible role focuses on ensuring food quality, managing kitchen staff, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and supporting a collaborative kitchen culture. The position begins January 2026.
Position Overview
Reports to Food Service Operations Manager(s) and Executive Chef.
Responsible for day‑to‑day kitchen operations, staff supervision, food safety compliance, and guest service excellence.
Supports safety training, equipment maintenance, and menu planning.
Responsibilities
Ensure restaurant is prepped and staffed for daily operations.
Oversee kitchen duties to meet quality, safety, and service standards.
Maintain safety logs, food temperature, rotation, and waste records.
Enforce uniform, hygiene, handwashing, and glove use standards.
Train staff on knife handling and safety protocols.
Create daily prep and inventory lists; delegate tasks as needed.
Assist with service continuity and fill service gaps.
Maintain a cleaning checklist and complete routine maintenance.
Assign duties, coach employees, and provide performance feedback.
Respond to guest/client feedback; report concerns to operations manager.
Schedule and monitor break and rest break compliance.
Inspect and maintain kitchen equipment.
Communicate with Regional Executive Chef and Food Service Operations Manager regarding service issues.
Work with restaurant supervisors to ensure location standards.
Adhere to all applicable local, state, and federal laws.
Perform additional tasks as deemed necessary.
Uphold and demonstrate company policies and procedures.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Job Requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to articulate to managers and personnel.
Proven leadership skills, team‑building, and partnership fostering.
Exceptional problem‑solving and decision‑making; organized and analytical.
Multitasking ability with attention to detail and planning.
Flexibility in a fast‑paced environment.
Professional, upbeat, energetic team player with initiative and diplomacy.
Basic computer skills for office functions.
Physical ability to stand extended periods, move boxes (10–35 lbs), lift, and perform tasks as described.
Willingness to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Previous Experience
Three years of supervisory experience.
Benefits and Compensation
Hourly, Non‑Exempt – pay set by experience within the $23.00–$25.00/hr range.
