As a Financial Analyst III, you will support Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid rates and reimbursement, representing more than $6 billion in annual net patient revenue. In this role, you will provide financial and RCM data, reporting and analysis, manage general ledger reconciliations and expense reviews, and collaborate with the Reimbursement team on Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports and third-party month-end activities, with a focus on Worksheet S-10 and Wage Index.
A caregiver in this position works remotely out of Ohio or Florida, Monday – Friday from 8:00am—4:30pm.
Responsibilities
Prepare, analyze and communicate key financial information.
Provide support to management and other caregivers regarding financial reporting and other issues.
Assist with budget preparation, budget review for compliance and financial planning processes.
Consult with all levels of management to provide decision support for initiatives, policies and procedures.
Perform special projects and duties related to research, forecasting and conflict resolution as assigned.
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field and three years of financial management or general analytical experience
OR Cleveland Clinic Fellow experience and two years of experience
OR Master’s Degree and two years of experience
Ability to complete complex analytical, consultative and information support through analysis and report preparation
Demonstrated understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs), cash flow analysis, product line analysis and proposal development
Preferred qualifications
Master’s Degree
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) Certification
Healthcare experience
Experience working in finance and/or accounting
Microsoft Excel skills
Financial analytic skills
Physical Requirements
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
In some locations ability to move up to 25 lbs.

Pay Range Minimum hourly: $25.13 Maximum hourly: $38.33 The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate’s actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate’s work history, experience, skill set, and education.
