Join to apply for the MRI Technologist Weekends role at AdventHealth. Schedule: Full Time Weekend Days. Shift: Friday/Saturday/Sunday 7:00am-7:30pm. Location: AdventHealth Minneola. Responsibilities
Imaging both neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, following age-specific guidelines. Transmit images for diagnostic interpretation and keep the hospital computer system up to date with exam progress. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all patients and staff, aligned with facility principles. The Value You'll Bring To The Team
Perform all exams using established protocols; verify patient identity, educate patients about the exam, and screen for contrast allergies. Complete exams in a timely manner, maintain workflow, and coordinate post-exam steps including transportation and discharge of outpatients when applicable. Operate MRI equipment safely and properly, adapt protocols for patients of all ages, and perform QA on MRI scanners. Screen patients of childbearing age and minimize radiation exposure; uphold infection control standards, use PPE, and maintain a clean, stocked imaging room. Qualifications
Associate in Radiology or Sonography. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) OR ARMRIT OR MR ARDMS or ARRT - Magnetic Resonance certification. CPR certification. Additional Information
