We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. As a non‑profit, we have the unique ability to assist you with paying off student loan debt after a prescribed number of years. Student loan forgiveness and repayment programs are available.

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough examinations of animals and diagnose illnesses or injuries
Develop and implement treatment plans for companion animals based on their conditions
Train to perform or perform surgical procedures, such as spaying/neutering, pyometra surgeries, tumor removals, eye enucleations
Administer vaccinations and medications to prevent and treat diseases
Educate pet owners on proper animal care, including nutrition, exercise, and grooming
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and other staff members to provide comprehensive care
Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
Stay updated on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education
Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school
Valid NC state veterinary license with at least 1 year of experience
Proficiency in animal catheterization, animal restraint, and general animal care techniques
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively educate pet owners
Ability to handle dogs and other animals with care and compassion
Knowledge of practice management software – Clinic HQ preferred but not required
Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $135,000 - $175,000 Annual Bonus/Commission: Yes
