Overview
Clinic Nurse Manager – Tribal Health Department. Location negotiable. Employment details: Testing Designated Position (TDP). Successful applicant may be employed under contract; salary is $40.80 - $46.90 per hour plus benefits. Responsibilities
Administrative duties in nursing leadership and management. Experience with the administration and management of competencies. Establish written policies and procedures. Supervise or manage staff in a healthcare environment (outpatient setting preferred). Assist with accreditation-related activities and initiatives. Work within a Patient Centered Medical Home model of care delivery. Qualifications
Current Registered Nursing license in good standing (must be maintained after hire). Bachelor of Science in Nursing and/or Master’s in Nursing. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience. At least 2 years of experience in Nursing Administrative duties. Current CPR certification or ability to become certified prior to working in a patient care environment. Valid Montana State driver’s license. Preferred: Master’s degree in nursing and a minimum of five years of direct relevant clinical work experience. Two years of experience in a supervisory or management role in a healthcare environment and experience in an outpatient setting, preferably in a community healthcare or family practice environment. Prior experience with accreditation. Prior experience with the Patient Centered Medical Home model of care delivery. Prior experience with establishing written policies & procedures. All applicants must submit a Tribal application, a copy of academic transcript, certifications, proof of state licensure, a copy of valid driver’s license, and if claiming Tribal preference, proof of enrollment from a federally recognized Tribe if other than CSKT, and if claiming veterans preference, a copy of the DD214. Failure to submit all information will result in immediate disqualification during the screening process. This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) within the CSKT Drug Testing policy.
