Base pay range $180,000.00/yr - $225,000.00/yr
Role Overview:
Support the brokerage's actuarial/pricing team in structuring, analysing, and advising on reinsurance placements for professional liability and cyber risk portfolios.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintaining pricing models and tools for professional liability and cyber reinsurance treaty and facultative business.
Analyse submission data, exposure metrics, loss experience, and market trends to provide pricing indication, risk segmentation, accumulation assessment and structure recommendations.
Dynamic Financial Analysis (DFA) modelling; stochastic modelling to investigate impact of reinsurance structures P&L, Balance Sheet, and Capital Requirements.
Provide input and participate in the development of new opportunities and renewals.
Monitor portfolio performance and profitability: conduct renewal analytics, profit studies, experience investigations, trend-analysis, accumulation modelling (especially for cyber exposures).
Develop in-house cyber expertise through research and development projects.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 - 10 years of relevant actuarial pricing or modelling experience (ideally 3 - 5 years in professional liability & cyber)
Bachelor's Degree in quantitative discipline such as Financial Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Quantitative Risk Management, or similar
Strong modelling and analytical skills: proficiency in Excel plus familiarity or strong ability in SQL, R or Python for data analysis and model building.
