Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Sales Engineering Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, technical excellence, and professional growth.
Guide the SE organization in anticipating and addressing the unique needs, regulatory requirements, and trends within the federal, civilian, and SLED markets.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product Line Management and Product Marketing to represent the voice of public sector customers and influence product and go‑to‑market strategies.
Champion Gigamon’s Deep Observability Pipeline and Zero Trust initiatives through public speaking, industry engagement, and thought leadership.
Partner with Sales leadership to identify and pursue new business opportunities, ensuring the SE team delivers compelling technical engagements and supports account strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key public sector clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure Gigamon’s solutions address their business and technical objectives.
Qualifications
10+ years of experience in technical leadership roles, with a focus on cybersecurity architectures and at least 7 years supporting public sector clients.
Demonstrated success leading and mentoring sales engineering teams, including developing SE managers and building high‑performing organizations.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) is preferred.
Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and build strong client relationships.
Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements and team activities.
Active or prior SECRET or TOP SECRET security clearance is a strong advantage.

Compensation The base salary compensation range targeted for this role is $233,000 to $291,000, with the opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to the terms and conditions of the plan). This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices.
