Clean Harbors is seeking a
Class A CDL Operator
to drive a variety of heavy and light-duty trucks and work equipment at our customer sites. You will operate vehicles such as vacuum trucks, Cuscos, guzzlers, and roll-offs, and will be responsible for both driving and non-driving duties related to hazardous waste clean-up. Company-paid training and tuition reimbursement. Key Responsibilities: Prioritize health and safety by adhering to safe work practices and policies. Operate commercial trucks and assist field laborers as necessary, fostering a team environment. Load and unload trucks efficiently. Perform manual labor on-site to meet customer needs. Ensure proper placarding of vehicles to comply with Company and DOT regulations. Maintain accurate daily logs, time sheets, and reports. Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules. Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT requirements. Adhere to corporate operating guidelines and procedures. Observe all environmental health and safety operating guidelines. Be available for emergency response duties on a rotating basis. Participate in site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous materials handling. Qualifications: Required: Valid Class A CDL. Ability to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements within 90 days of employment. Proficiency in using various mobile devices. Capability to perform physical tasks as required. Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical examination. Meet facial hair standards per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard. Preferred: Experience as a commercial driver. Existing Hazmat and Tanker endorsements. Previous Hazmat experience. Ability to operate a manual transmission. Experience with manual labor.
