Overview Cohesity is a leader in AI-powered data security and management. We help organizations secure, protect, manage, and derive value from data across data centers, edge, and cloud, with capabilities like immutable backup snapshots, AI-based threat detection, monitoring for malicious behavior, and rapid recovery at scale. We are seeking experienced architects to develop detailed blueprints for successful customer deployments and create repeatable blueprints that become templates for all deployments. These will be used to develop our services practices and enable delivery, partner, and customer teams to deploy Cohesity secondary storage solutions. The ideal candidate has substantial experience architecting, documenting, deploying, and enabling others, and will validate procedures in the field and teach partners and customers how to apply them in their environments. The role involves working with engineering, systems engineers, tech marketing specialists, and customer support to build professional services practices starting with the architectural blueprint that covers installation, integration, applications, migration, scripting (automation) to be used by delivery teams, partners, and customers. HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE Deliver architecture and professional services to Cohesity customers Build strategic relationships with key customers and Cohesity teams Collaborate with Cohesity’s product solutions team to bridge the gap between technology capabilities and customer requirements Engage directly with customers to understand their organizational needs and identify how Cohesity’s product features can best support their objectives Write and validate deployment architectures Collaborate with the Product Solutions team to ensure smooth knowledge transfer to the solution delivery team Engage with customers to understand their organizational needs and identify how Cohesity’s product features can best support their objectives Maintain and update JIRA by creating and managing user stories to ensure alignment across product, engineering, and delivery teams Define technical architecture including sizing and performance to meet customer requirements Ensure Deployment Designs are successfully deployed Create knowledge base articles related to practices and architectures Develop best practices for deployment designs that translate to project plans Continually improve deliverables as we scale and release new features/products Inspect deliverables for successes and improvements Work with others to develop post-deployment documentation (run books, pre-deployment templates, etc.) Convert deployment designs and best practices into a training curriculum Deliver hands-on training in small group formats Conduct beta testing of procedures for new deployment designs in the field Provide feedback to Implement Engineers, Systems Engineers, and engineering on ways to improve the overall experience Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience 10+ years of professional IT experience Experience highly desirable in virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix Xen App/Desktop) Linux/Unix Proficiency in Oracle and SQL with hands-on experience in both databases Data Protection, Data Security and Data Management Storage (Isilon, NetApp & Pure) Disaster Recovery/Business Continuance Database Protection and Recovery Public Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) Scripting / Automation (Python, Ansible and ServiceNow) Visio or equivalent application Excellent communication and project-related skills Strong verbal communication and presentation skills Strong written skills and ability to create documentation The ability to teach others and make them successful Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills The ability to manage projects and drive to a deadline Expected Travel: > 25% Disclosures Pay Range: $137,360.00-$171,700.00 The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment. This position may be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants.
