Responsibilities
Install, configure, patch, and upgrade Oracle database software across Linux, AWS, and on-premises environments.
Administer Oracle databases, ensuring performance, integrity, availability, and compliance with T-Mobile standards.
Implement and manage Oracle Data Guard and Oracle GoldenGate for replication, high availability, and disaster recovery.
Monitor database health, performance, and capacity using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Grafana, and Prometheus.
Perform performance tuning, query optimization, and schema design improvements to enhance reliability and scalability.
Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures to safeguard enterprise data.
Manage database users, roles, and privileges in compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
Automate routine administrative tasks using Ansible, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Bash, Python, and PL/SQL.
Document standards, procedures, and change management activities for operational consistency.
Collaborate with application developers, system administrators, and project managers to support deployment and data integration initiatives.
Provide troubleshooting and on-call support for production issues as part of a rotational schedule.
Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred)
Experience : 2–5 years of hands-on experience administering Oracle databases in enterprise or cloud environments (required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Strong understanding of Oracle architecture, performance tuning, and backup/recovery; proficiency in Linux system administration and basic cloud concepts (AWS preferred); experience with automation tools and scripting languages for operational efficiency; solid problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills

Base Pay Range: $78,800 - $142,100
Corporate Bonus Target: 15%
