Security Professional - Telecom Patrol Driver in Culver City, CA. You will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Position Details
Role: Part-Time Security Officer (unarmed patrol) at a technology-focused location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving position and requires a valid driver’s license. You will have access to our exclusive Claim a Shift platform to view and pick up open shifts based on your availability, helping you build a schedule that fits your needs and gain site experience across various industries. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon 10:00 PM - 06:45 AM; Tue 10:00 PM - 06:45 AM; Sun 10:00 PM - 06:45 AM What You’ll Do
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the technology-focused business and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activities. Observe and report any unusual activity or incidents within the location to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives. Assist visitors and employees by offering directions and general assistance as needed. Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to help maintain a secure environment based on the unique needs of a tech and media facility. Maintain a visible presence to deter potential security-related concerns in and around the premises. What We’re Looking For
Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located. A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required. Possession of a current Guard Card or license is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
