Senior Product Manager – Seals & Extrusions (North America)
Quanex is looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the growth and profitability of our Seals and Extrusions product line within our fenestration portfolio. Based in Akron, Ohio, Cambridge, Ohio, Cannon Falls, Minnesota, or Statesville, North Carolina, the role requires a strategic leader capable of managing the full product lifecycle and aligning product strategy with enterprise goals.
Overview The Senior Product Manager will be Quanex’s senior expert in seals and extrusions, responsible for developing and executing market‑driven product strategies, managing cross‑functional teams, and achieving revenue and profit targets. The role involves deep customer engagement, competitive analysis, and continuous improvement of product development and launch processes.

Manage the product lifecycle, including enhancements, pricing, and phase‑outs to drive profitable growth
Lead and coach cross‑functional teams (sales, engineering, operations, finance) to achieve KPIs
Ensure product specifications meet manufacturing and industry standards for high‑speed extrusion and durability
Coordinate launches with value‑based pricing, marketing materials, and sales training
Monitor key metrics (revenue, profitability, market share) using the 4P framework
Gather and translate customer insights into actionable improvements
Implement continuous improvement in launch processes, reducing timelines and enhancing quality
Present financial plans, strategies, and performance updates to senior leadership
Your Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
10+ years of product management, sales, marketing, or business development experience, ideally in fenestration or building products
Proven track record of managing complex portfolios and meeting revenue/profit targets
In‑depth knowledge of seals, extrusions, and related manufacturing processes (EPDM, TPE, silicone)
Strategic mindset with focus on execution and data‑driven decisions
Advanced analytical skills for market analysis, financial modeling, and performance optimization
Strong cross‑functional leadership and conflict resolution abilities
Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint at an advanced level
Exceptional communication and presentation skills for senior executives and external partners
Strong problem‑solving and analytical capabilities for technical and market challenges
Salary Range $105,000 to $130,000 with bonus potential.
