Vice President of Lease & Rental - The Pete Store The main objective of this role is to successfully grow and manage a fleet of full-service lease & rental vehicles throughout our New England territory. Utilizing the Peterbilt, PacLease, and Pete Store brands, this role positions an already trusted brand to a wealth of prospects in the region. The focus is on growing our customer base through constant contact with prospects and customers, while maintaining a deep commitment to customer service by putting client needs as a top priority. Operational knowledge is utilized to handle a variety of tasks and foster process improvement.

Base Pay Range $50,000.00/yr – $65,000.00/yr

Additional Compensation Types Annual Bonus and Commission

Lease & Rental Sales; prospect for new customers through email, cold calls, knocks, social media, etc. Manage any existing relationships through ongoing contact.

Utilize technology such as RigDig, FleetSeek, LinkedIn, etc to discover and connect with potential new customers.

Keep an organized schedule to separate time for visiting current customers, exploring new ones, and prospecting; utilize our SalesForce platform to keep an organized pipeline and structured prospecting.

Spec trucks in SmartSpec tool with resale and customer application as a priority; prepare accurate and complete deals in SalesSuite tool.

Travel to each location within region periodically to grow market for that specific dealership.

Demonstrate general financial knowledge by analyzing the financial statement to identify key areas of improvement.

Assist admin team with various billing tasks.

Handle aspects of rental department including creating contracts, assisting with credit and insurance, and communicating with the service advisor teams regarding all pending rental transactions.

Assist with lease & rental breakdowns and notify local service advisors of any incoming units to facilitate repairs; work with PacLease Fleet Service Manager for any cases that require additional attention.

Prepare and deliver new trucks for lease and rental sales including insurance, tag & title work, and any other pre-delivery tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Lease & rental sales prospecting, including email, cold calls, knocks, and social media.

Maintain relationships with existing customers through ongoing contact.

Utilize technology tools such as RigDig, FleetSeek, LinkedIn, and SalesSuite to discover, connect, and close deals.

Prepare accurate and complete deals in SalesSuite tool.

Travel within the region to support dealership marketing and sales.

Assist in administrative billing tasks.

Manage rental department operations, including contracts, credit, insurance, and communication with service advisors.

Assist with lease & rental breakdowns and facilitate repairs with PacLease Fleet Service Manager.

Coordinate pre-delivery tasks for new trucks.

Qualifications

Two to four years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in situations.

Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
