Job Description & Skill Requirement We are seeking a passionate and detail‑oriented Acoustics Hardware Engineer to join our hardware development team. In this role, you will design, test, and optimize acoustic systems — including speakers, microphones, and amplifiers — to deliver exceptional audio performance across our products. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams in hardware, mechanical, and electrical engineering to bring innovative audio experiences to life.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct acoustic and audio performance testing, analysis, and validation to ensure product quality and reliability.
Develop and execute hardware test plans, including functional, environmental, and performance tests.
Work with vendors and manufacturing partners on component selection, prototyping, and production validation.
Analyze acoustic measurements (frequency response, THD, impedance, SPL, etc.) and drive design improvements.
Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to optimize system layout and enclosure design for acoustic performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and audio system issues during development and testing phases.
Document test results, engineering reports, and design specifications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, Physics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in acoustic hardware, testing, or system integration.
Strong knowledge of speaker design, amplifier circuits, and acoustic system modeling.
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
