Position Senior Software Test Automation Engineer

is a hands-on Agile Test Automation Engineer, evolving our functional and non-functional automation frameworks, and developing mobile automation framework. Some manual testing may also be involved.

Responsibilities

Develop automated tests (functional, non-functional) and implement effective test data management practices for Mobile and .net applications.

Design, implement, and maintain test data management practices and tooling.

Effectively communicate requirements, use design patterns, and use modern development practices and consistently maintain Test Automation Frameworks.

Develop and maintain strong team relationships primarily on the team assigned but also develop relationships with other teams with similar tech stacks.

Contribute to best practices for the organization for Test Automation.

Contribute to recommendations for appropriate tools for the organization's needs related to Test Automation.

Assist with the delivery of projects, collaborate with resource managers, and work with technical leads and DevOps teams on their Test Automation releases.

Prioritize and manage own workload, issues, and risks.

Limited travel when required.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent industry experience.

Minimum Experience

3+ years of experience leading Test Automation teams.

3+ years of experience testing Mobile apps (e.g., Appium).

3+ years of hands-on experience working with object-oriented languages (JavaScript strongly preferred).

3+ years of experience in a Scrum/XP software development role.

3+ years of hands-on manual testing and validation of Mobile and .NET applications.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Experience in functional and non-functional test automation.

Experience in test data generation and management.

Experience using Test Driven Development and Behavior Driven Development practices.

Proficiency in one of the programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, JavaScript).

Fluent in Scrum Practices, and author user stories with GHERKIN with acceptance criteria.

Practitioner of Agile Methodologies, eXtreme Programming, Software Craftsmanship, DevOps, Continuous Delivery, Domain Driven Design.

Experience in Tech Stacks under management: xUnit, advanced Test Automation frameworks, Node.js, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, .Net, etc.

Familiar with Test Driven Development and related practices.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
