Role Focus As Credit Strategy Lead, you will dive into three areas to help the business grow:
Become an expert in understanding our portfolio health and ensure our portfolios are meeting risk‑adjusted expectations through in‑depth research.
Leverage insights on credit risk performance and macroeconomic trends to drive recommendations for new lending growth opportunities.
Develop best‑in‑class portfolio monitoring and risk identification tools.
Responsibilities
Strong business acumen with the ability to understand business problems from multiple stakeholder perspectives.
Risk‑related domain knowledge, such as credit bureau attributes and scoring, customer acquisition, scorecard modeling, loan amount assignment, pricing, loss forecasting, or collections.
5+ years working experience in an analytics‑related role leading credit strategy. Lending experience at a bank or fintech strongly preferred.
MS/PhD in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Finance, Economics, etc., or Bachelor’s degree in the same fields with 5+ years of experience or equivalent.
Proven analytical thinker that can leverage excellent communication skills to translate complex quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights.
Ability to learn fast and work in a fast‑paced environment, and confidence in taking end‑to‑end ownership of a project.
Proficient in one of the following analytics tools, such as Python, R, and SAS.
Advanced Excel skills with strong logical and SQL database query skills.
Experience developing beautiful dashboards with visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Domo.
Meticulous attention to detail.
