Senior Accountant

Support the Segment Controllership and Manager of Accounting with daily operations. Contribute to the monthly global financial close process, specializing in journal entries, account reconciliations, and analyses. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual segment financials and documentation. Conduct variance analyses and explain differences between actual and expected performance. Process journal entries related to segment-specific revenue and ensure accurate posting in accordance with internal policies. Support technical accounting analysis and interpretation of complex issues. Maintain strong internal controls to ensure reporting accuracy. Participate in financial close activities and ensure timely completion. Manage compliance with US GAAP and company policies. Provide audit support, including documentation for internal and external audits. Implement recommendations and mitigation plans following audit findings. Collaborate with Regional Commercial Finance counterparts on accounting policy application. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA designation preferred. Minimum 4 years of accounting experience (public company and/or public accounting preferred). Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and solve problems efficiently in a fast-paced team environment. Excellent communication skills. Organized and detail oriented. Experience with SAP and/or Blackline preferred. Location
Effective from the opening of Hasbro’s new Boston location: onsite Tuesday – Thursday in Boston, MA. In the interim, onsite Tuesday – Thursday at Hasbro’s HQ in Pawtucket, RI, or at Hasbro’s temporary location in Boston, MA. Salary
Base salary range: $82,700.00 – $124,100.00. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, location, and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives. Benefits
